Calculation

How the overpayment and APR of a microloan are calculated

Interest is charged only for the actual period of using the money. No 'selection' fees or mandatory insurance.

Example. Loan of 100,000 ₸ for 30 days at a rate of 0.12% per day:

  • Interest: 100,000 × 0.12% × 30 = 3 600 ₸
  • Amount to repay: 100,000 + 3,600 = 103 600 ₸
  • APR for such a loan ≈ 44% per annum

For a new client, the same loan if repaid on time — at 0%, the amount to repay is exactly 100,000 ₸.

What is APR

APR is the annual effective interest rate. It reflects the real cost of the loan including all payments over a year. Under the law of Kazakhstan, it must be stated in the contract, and we show the APR next to each calculation in the calculator.

Questions

Frequently asked questions about microloan terms

What is the maximum microloan amount?

Online you can take out a microloan from 5,000 to 600,000 ₸. The available amount depends on your credit history and whether it is your first or repeat loan — the limit increases for regular customers.

Is it true that the first loan is at 0%?

Yes, new clients get their first microloan at 0%: if repaid on time, you return exactly the amount borrowed without overpayment. If the deadline is missed, the contractual rate applies.

How is the APR on a loan calculated?

APR — annual effective interest rate — takes into account all loan payments on an annual basis. It is mandatory stated in the contract and displayed next to the calculation in our calculator so you can see the real cost of the loan.

What happens if I miss a payment?

For late payment, a penalty is charged — no more than 0.5% per day of the overdue amount and no more than 10% of the loan amount per year. From day 91 of delay, under the law of the Republic of Kazakhstan, the accrual of interest and penalties stops. If you face difficulties, you have the right to submit a restructuring application.

Can I repay my microloan early?

Yes, early repayment is available at any time without penalties or fees. Interest is recalculated for the actual period of using the funds, so early repayment reduces the overpayment.

Which card does the money come to?

Funds are credited to any bank card in Kazakhstan — Kaspi, Halyk, Jusan, Forte, and others. The card must be issued in the borrower's name. Crediting usually takes about 15 minutes after approval.
